for the second part of my bday celebration, we headed to powerplant mall for lunch over the movie, iron man.

it was my first time to try oliver's super sandwiches. i've always seen their glorietta branch teeming with customers but i was never compelled to try it out because the store doesn't look that clean. heh..sorry but that's a real big issue for me. but since oliver's is the only "real meal" we can find around the cinema area, we settled for it. i went safe and ordered BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato) while b had almond cajun chicken. both sandwiches were really deliciously healthy. now i know why people love it.

we actually didn't plan on seeing iron man in the big screen. but because i just want to relax on my bday and some friends have been raving about how good iron man was, lounging around the cinema seemed like such a great idea.

i agree with everyone saying that the movie was spectacular. i really don't know robert downey jr that much as an actor but i must say he did a great job. the character suits him very well. i also love the story of how the merchant of death became a superhero in a life changing hostage situation. the effects are also fantastic. i loved how those pieces of metal are moving like they have a mind of their own to form the iron man suit. cool!

Iron Man was a practically flawless hero flick; its makers drop some pretty obvious sequel hints too... i'm thinking the next one should be equally great

Robert Downey, Jr's my ultimate favorite actor... I drooled on him in college days -- even when he's hooked to drugs and all that.
