is it true that thinking a lot makes you hungry? see, software programming entails a lot of analyzation and logic. i usually work til late night these days and i notice that even if i was full with dinner, i find myself hankering for food within 2 hours of working.
hmm..let's see. a brain is like a car because it needs fuel in the form of glucose for it to function properly. so naturally when we think a lot, more glucose is needed by the brain. it probably uses up all of the food we just ate, therefore making us hungry again. haha..i'm going scientific here. i really just made up that conclusion but don't u think it makes sense? heh.
anyway the real point of this post is how to combat hunger pangs. since it's already late at night, going to sleep with a full stomach is not advisable. this is where yakult gets in the picture. yes, that drink full of friendly bacteria. apparently, this is also used by acidic persons when their stomachs start to burn. so yeah, it's effective for me too. a bottle of yakult followed by a glass of water and i'm good. stomach and brain recharged.
