the foodie that i am, i'm always on the lookout for restos that serve good food. i'd actually go number of miles just to have my piece of those gastronomic treats i've been reading and hearing about. but since i still can't drive, i need to have that someone who'd be willing to brave the heavy traffic and unfamiliar place just to have those sweet treats from banapple at katipunan or satisfy my addiction for italian foods at al dente in pasig. for the meantime, i'd have to consider where the one handling the wheel would be comfortable to take me. so whenever i'd go some place where i don't frequent, i make sure that i'll only eat at restos i haven't tried before or those that aren't available where i usually hang out. hmm..maybe that's the reason why i, try as hard as i can, can't drive til now. because as a restless wanderer, i'll be everywhere for sure, exploring every nook and corner not only of the metro, but of the whole luzon as well.

nway, one of the most recent snack bar i just tried is bubble tea in megamall. it's a very small place at the lower ground level near the skating rink. so small that only 3 tables that are good for 2 persons can fit inside along with the counter and drink bar. although there are a few couches outside, i wasn't keen on the idea of people passing out and about while i'm eating. not such a good eating surrounding i tell you.

what they lack in ambiance, they make up for in drinks. bubble tea has quite a number of tea flavors to choose from and can be ordered hot or cold. but what i love is their royal bubble tea and kiwi green tea. the former tastes like my fave choco milk tea from quickly while the latter is a very refreshing drink made from my fave fruit of all, kiwi.

since it's a tokyo milk tea place (as specified in their menu), they serve japanese food, naturally. i had their bestseller teriyaki chicken dorie, chicken rice drizzled with mayo and topped with cheese and lots and lots of onions. ugh..i hate onions! i painstakingly removed all the onions before having my first bite. the rice was very creamy and the chicken very tasty, therefore it was good. it was a bit heavy on the tummy though. after finishing half of my bowl, i felt so full already.

b, on the other hand, had hamburg cheesemelt burger. just a regular burger with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and cheese + sidings of wasabi flavored chips and some salad. nothing special about the burger, really.

they have other meals in their menu that i wanna try. but next time, i'd better go in their branch at sm north edsa for a more comfortable and "bubbly" ambiance that would be perfect for chillout moments.
