i know that trinoma has been open since may of last year and i've seen beautiful photos specially of the garden. i love nature and anything green and anything with flowing water but no matter how i wanted to go there, it's just too far for those of us living in the southern metro.
because it's a holiday and it's really boring to just stay at home, b was kind enough to take me shopping there even though he was feeling sick this morning. and i really would like to thank him a lot because i enjoyed it there and i made the most out of it coz i know that we won't be back there in a while.
had lunch at cyma coz i've been craving for their gyros since last month. first had a taste of cyma at boracay and b and i both loved their gyros. i had the mistake of ordering pastitsio (baked macaroni with greek bechamel sauce) which is no different from the moussaka that i didn't like. the gyros wasn't as good as it was in bora, maybe because of the way it was cooked, the ambiance, or i just didn't feel like eating gyros today.
for dessert, it was time to try five cows. one word: dissapointing. the food sounds and looks good on the menu but when it was served, it doesn't look like the photo in the menu at all that you'd think they made a mistake in serving the meal. with the plain looking food comes a plain taste. ferrero crunch is just vanilla ice cream with coco crunch and crushed sugar cone with a teeeeeny bit of ferrero taste. same comment goes with the banana caramel pie, they scrimped on the bananas thus it just tastes like vanilla ice cream. prices are steep for those plain desserts so i suggest you go on looking for another dessert bar that would not dissapoint.

(i only have my cellphone camera with me and the photos i took didn't do justice)
trinoma was overwhelming. it was filled with stores and restos that i wish were in moa. i actually think it was bigger and better than moa and in fact, more beautiful. love the garden on the top floor and the flowing water that seems to be going on everywhere. i must say it was well thought of. just look at that photo above, breathtaking for someone as nature and water lover like me.
