tuesday chillout

just had a chillout moment last night at atc.

traffic here in south is as always terrible that we wished we just went to makati instead. but with a few driving "da moves" of my man, we were able to ease through the horrible horrible traffic with a shorter travel time than expected.

dinner was spent in brooklyn pizza where we ordered spicy shrimp pasta and slices of 3-cheese and deluxe pizza. while i got myself full from the meal, i wasn't that delighted with it. we capped the meal off with a venti choco cream chip from starbucks which is not good as well. i guess we're just not that lucky with the food.

we really planned to watch twilight on a weekday to avoid a large crowd. the movie is just simple but it was great seeing the book come to life. our viewing experience could've been better if it weren't for the other movie goers who keep on making awkward comments and reactions. i guess we're not that lucky with the movie either.

when we got out of the movie house at 10pm, the place is quieter than usual that it felt like we've just been to a last full show. then i remembered it was a tuesday...wow, the place is peaceful. if only work (and budget) isn't in the way, we would've hang out in coffee bean & tea leaf for a while. the ambiance there is perfect and it would be like having a coffee place all to ourselves. even starbucks is not the usual crammed space, i can seriously count the number of people who are there at that moment. this is my kind of place..clean, cosmopolitan and peaceful. the cool christmas weather, sparkling christmas lights on trees and a band playing old love songs somewhere on the 2nd flr all added to the lovely setting.

i'm not really used to seeing the parking lot almost empty. in my delight, i asked B to stay around for a while. we just leaned on the side of the car and had our usual talks on life with the band still playing love songs on the background. we were also able to star-gaze which almost fulfilled my dream of looking at the sky while lying in grass with my B. only, there's no grass.

i really enjoyed the night. i'd say it was a tuesday night well spent chilling out with my man.
