holiday schmoliday

first off, happy holidays everyone! hope you're enjoying it most specially those here in manila because it's probably the longest christmas holiday ever.

in order to take advantage of the long holiday, my family made plans of going to pagudpud, taking a tour of subic and clark, spending christmas in baguio, and having a side trip to tagaytay after doing the annual christmas gift giving at dad's quezon province. none of those plans pushed through so i'm basically spending the holiday here at home and at the malls. lame, huh.

even before december started, i already suggested that we spend christmas in a different way or at a different place. some of us are quite averse to change on christmas traditions so plans on weekend out of town trips were devised instead. no one's taking in charge and i'm really busy with office stuff so those out of town plans didn't materialize. yes, even that supposed batangas trip i plurked yesterday which i'm quite relieved my mom didn't push us to go because i'm quite concerned of the inconveniences my period would cause me.

holiday rundown:

dec 23 - christmas merien-dinner at office (our last working day). played at powerstation (MOA) with my brothers and won ruffles sour cream & cheddar in one of those picking thingies.

dec 24 - cooked for the whole day. christmas eve mass. noche buena with ham, baked ribs, spaghetti, brownies and cream puff. opening of gifts. my brother gave me breaking dawn (4th book in twilight series), yay!

dec 25 - house garden lunch with grilled liempo and tilapia, chili crabs, bulalo soup, and mango salsa. news of my dad's uncle passing away. watched tv with b here at home.

dec 26 - major dysmenorrhea. stayed in bed all day sleeping and reading breaking dawn. b went here to make me laugh. unfortunately, dysmenorrhea got worse at night and it kept me awake that i slept at past 4am next day.

dec 27 - cooked lunch. went to market market for b's shopping. more of b's shopping at moa.

dec 28 - cooked lunch. parents went to batangas. cleaned room full of dust and threw collection of dvd's (downloading is the thing now). heard mass. went to moa with brothers and b. b stayed here a bit and made kwentuhan with my youngest brother.

dec 29 - washed my white lacoste bag. went to b's place to work but ended up eating lots of stuff, sleeping and net surfing.

see how boring my holiday is? well, there's still a week to go before office starts so we'll see. but i doubt there'll be any major happening coz it's almost new year and i don't like spending too much on the start of the year. heh *grin*.
