night with the boys and a preview

i'm on a little preview.

the boys are having a barbecue & beer session outside while i'm here inside the little room having a drink of my own--a whole pitcher of water.

sitting here, i can't help looking back at how the day went. here's to make a rundown: i got out of bed as soon as the alarm went off which is really really unusual for me coz i'm "tulog mantika" as my mom puts it and even if the alarm is placed on my face, i really wouldn't budge coz i'm in such deep sleep. i heated 2 kettles full of water to be used for our shower because we don't have a heater and the water is tooo cold nowadays due to the rainy season. i cooked 2 remaining slices of ham to go with our blueberry danish pastry for breakfast.

since we still don't have a househelp after the last one ran away a week ago, we've been eating out most of the time. lunch today was at TOSH and we had salad and a pasta plate to share. it was one of our best meals, not because of the food but of the conversation we had. afternoon was spent at b's house coz it was the iron lady's schedule for us and it was time to clean up because it has been quite a mess here these past few days. good thing the iron lady agreed to clean up the bathroom because i get quite sick seeing how unkempt it has been. since the bathroom has been cleaned, b got an idea of putting grout on the floor tiles to make it clean again. and then the bathroom floor is now a disaster. LOL. it's covered with white cement and it really ain't pretty to look at. b's mom is coming home in 10 days and we're gonna be in deep sh*t. hahahha. it's such a disaster that we went to my family's house to take a bath, which is my first time since the renovation was finished. i didn't go back home, you see.

had a little chitchat with my mom in the kitchen bar while we're munching on this japanese snack my brother brought home from japan. and i'm so glad that she's so positive and fun to be with since yesterday. i hope she stays that way for long.

so this is how it's going to be: b's friends outside, me inside the room. next time, i'll probably be having a few bottles of liquour here with me while waiting for them to finish. but for now while i'm still working on making this tummy disappear, water is fine, thank you very much.
