weekend snippets

...b's househelp went back to the province so we're pretty much doing the household chores at his home except for the laundry. that's why i'm cooking again. i didn't realize how much i missed it til i started doing it. and i miss eating variety of dishes.

...since it was market day yesterday, i went with my mom to refill b's ref at home. b's househelp goes to the market every week and her budget is 800 pesos. i brought with me 1,500 pesos to buy food up to next next week and i was a bit surprised at how much i was able to buy. i think it will last us for a month!

...cleaning fresh meat and seafood, cooking, and doing the dishes can be a breeze if people work together. b was very willing to help in every task. i'm such a lucky girl!

...it's much more enjoyable to eat something that you've worked for. we had so much fun eating lunch and dinner yesterday.

...since i was able to buy a lot yesterday and both my hands were carrying very heavy baskets, this morning when i woke up, my arms and back hurt...a lot! this is what i get from lack of exercise.

...i'll be doing the cooking for the whole week because the new househelp will arrive on saturday night. and i'm excited. i have a lot of plans and i think i wanna continue it even if there's help around.
