we found a vacuumed pack of cleaned squid the day we went grocery shopping at south supermarket. bought it to make calamares but it was only yesterday that i was finally able to use it. yesterday was my first time to cook calamares and it's really really simple pala. i guess the only complicated part of it is making sure that the squid doesn't become rubber-y due to overcooking.


ingredients: squid cut into about 1/4 inch rings, calamansi, flour, egg

procedure: pour calamansi into the squid then add salt and pepper. dip each squid in egg then flour then deep fry. serve with catsup-mayo dip.
